Samantha is a Sports Therapist who joined OPTIMUM in July 2009.  Since graduating with a first class degree Sam has worked both in clinical and on field environments.  Sam has worked heavily with rugby, and the disciplines of triathlon over the past 3 years.

Sam currently travels internationally with the Great Britain Duathlon and Triathlon teams as their Sports therapist, providing Pre and Post event treatment.  Past events include: European championships (Edinburgh 2007, Greece 2008, Budapest 2009) and World championships (Belgium 2008, Rimini 2008, Holland 2009).  Sam is due to attend the World championships for standard and sprint triathlon on the gold coast of Australia this year.

Sam also lectures at the University of Bedfordshire on the Sports Therapy degree programme specialising in Massage and Rehabilitation of Injuries. She is a keen netball player and has recently taken up the sport of underwater hockey to support her research. (bruises to prove it).
